I never stopped loving that part of me but I definitely learned to tuck it away for safety.

Really love this topic. I’ve felt that too, and it means a lot to see someone actually say it out loud. 💓

have you ever felt pressure to act “less feminine” in order to fit in?

for me, daily repetition of affirming who i am and who i want to be works. also letting go of what other people expect of me. remember, you have one life. its yours to live. and teaching yourself to never need anyone. now that one is tough i must admit. 😅 i am still working on that one myself. please share insights when you have them.

"i thought i had to suppress my feminine side in order to feel accepted." that comment sparked something real — and maybe you've felt it too.

in a world that claims to celebrate authenticity, many of us still feel like we’re walking a tightrope between being accepted and being too much. whether it's on dating apps, in the workplace, at family gatherings, or even within our own community — femininity often feels like something that needs to be toned down to be tolerated.

so let’s talk about it — without judgment, without filters.
